Dr. Frank Avason III graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy before attending University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he graduated 8th in his class. After graduation, he completed a three year periodontal residency at UK obtaining a Master of Science degree. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, the North Carolina Dental Society as well as several other local and state dental societies. In addition to being a licensed periodontist and dentist, he also continues to keep an active pharmacy license to stay abreast of the ever-changing advances in healthcare.
